[ Best Of 2015 - منتجاتي المفضلة بسنة ٢٠١٥ ]

This post is a bit late as we are already in the second month of 2016, but I really wanted to share my last year's favourites.. and they say better late than never right?

Since this is a Favourites post, it's going to be a bit long and pictures heavy.

I won't be reviewing each and every item individually, they are favourites after all so they are all good and I Love them all!

All the makeup items mentioned in this post are well pigmented, have good colour payoff, blends/covers well (if applicable), have an excellent wear time, go well with my skin tone, doesn't crease/fade or oxidise.

For the reference, I have a light medium skin with yellow undertones (say MAC NC30), a combination with the T zone being oilier than the rest, few pores on my cheeks specially my right one, with no other major problems that I want to hide.

I love my foundations and powders to be medium cover ( I hate the dull fully covered skin) and I also prefer glow over matte finishes most of the times except in blushers (I like all finishes except glittery) and shadows (almost every finish, depends on the time and occasion and/or place).

When it comes to eyes, I prefer neutral colours  with some pop of colour like purple, green, blue, burgundy. all in medium/dark shades.. bright and neon eyeshadows are never my piece of cake.

for lips it's quite the opposite, I Love both nudes & brights! but I hate lipsticks with shimmer or glitter, and I hate strong true brown shades! rosy brown, mauve brown, peachy brown are ok.. but truly and only brown? No!

بما انه البوست عن المنتجات المفضلة فبحاول اختصر الكلام والشرح بما انه واضح انها كلها منتجات مميزة وعجبتني لدرجة صارت مفضلة عندي طول السنة.. فمايحتاج المدح التفصيلي

بس راح ابتدي بمقدمة عن الاشياء اللي تستهويني وابحث عنها بالمنتجات وشنو المواصفات اللي افضلها

بالنسبة للمكياج نبتدي بالوجه.. أحب التغطية المتوسطة الطبيعية اللي تكون بين المطفية وبين الديوي (شبه المضيئة) ما احب التغطية الكاملة ولا المطفية كاملها هذا بالنسبة للفاونديشن والباودر والكونسيلر، أما بالنسبة للبلاشرات فاحب اغلب الدرجات وحتى المطفية واللي بلمعة بس ماحب الجليتر الزايد بس احب بودرات الاضاءة وايد

بالعيون أحب الشدوات الترابية اكثر شي باغلب الانواع واحب نقطة الوان للاستخدام تحت العين او احياناً بالدمج والزاوية الخارجية، مثل البرغندي، الكحلي، البنفسجي الغامج، الرمادي

الارواج احب كل نوع وكل لون من الفواتح واللحميات للفواقع والغوامق ماعدا الارواج اللي فيها غليتر او شيمر، الالوان اللي اساسها بني او عودي بدون اي لون ثانية والالوان القاتمة القريبة للاسود

Face Makeup
مكياج الوجه

Primers: MUFE Step1 Skin Equaliser Primer, I have both the Smoothing (Grey) and the Nourishing (White), the first is to pat over my pores and the white on the edges of my face where it gets flaky sometimes.

Foundation: NARS Sheer Glow in shade Stromboli

this is a great foundation  have the right amount of yellow tones, blends effortlessly and give a flawless cover! I've actually hit the pan with it in less than 6 months! 


Concealer: Urban Decay NAKED Skin concealer in the shade Med Dark Warm,  it comes with a wand which makes it very easy to apply and blend.

Setting Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder, I love it to set my concealer and as an overall finishing powder, it's colourless and very fine, which makes it very easy to dust the access.


البرايمر: من ميكب فورايفر ستيب ١ تكلمت عنه وايد بانستقرامي، عندي الابيض اللي يغذي البشرة والرمادي اللي ينعم البشرة ويصقلها للفاونديشن.. استخدمهم مع بعض اغلب الاوقات

الفاونديشن: نارس شير غلو رااائع فيه كله اللي ادوره بفاونديشن، صفاهر مناسب وتغطيته وسط ومايتقشر ولا يتاكسد ولا يغمق.. من حبه له خلصته باقل من ست شهور وهذا يعتبر عندي سريع جداً لاني نادراً ماستخدم منتج بتكرار لدرجة اخلصه

الكونسيلر: أربان ديكاي نيكد سكن درجتي ميد دارك وارم.. روعة يتوزع بسرعة باسفنجته ويندمج ويغطي عدل ويبين طبيعي بنفس الوقت ومايخطط

بودرة التثبيت: اترانسلوسنت باودر من لورا ميرسيه احب اثبت بها الكونسيلر وحتى الفاونديشن مافيها لون وماتدخل بالخطوط وبسرعة يتنظف الزايد منها وماتعطي الويه شحوب

Contour: Well I actually got 5 contour palettes in 2015! Kat Von D Shade and Light won amongst them all, I like the tone of the powders and you get 3 to choose or mix and match in both contour and highlight, all matte.. I wish they were refillable though. 

Bronzer: Guerlain 4 Seasons in 05 Moyen Brunettes, this has 4 shades which gives you the option to maintain how much bronzed/tanned you wanna look! and it warms up the skin nicely

Highlighter: Champagne Pop by BECCA cosmetics collaboration with Jaclyn Hill, this is one of my best 2015 buys! I've always been a sucker for beautiful highlighters, but with the golden peachy one.. I use it 80% of the times and all the rest share the 20%! just make sure to apply with a light hand and add more is needed, don't start strong or you would be turned to a disco ball in like 5!

الكونتور: انا مو من محبين الكريمي احب الباودر وبالسنة اللي فاتت شريت اغلب باليتات الكونتور اللي انشهرت بس اكثر واحد عجبني كات فون دي، ثلاث درجات كونتور وثلاث درجات هايلايت وكلها مطفية وتنسب اغلب الدرجات لا هي محمرة وايد ولا رمادية عيبه الوحيد انه مو ريفي

البرونزر: غيرلان فورسيزن الدرجة الخامسة فيه اربع تدرجات من الافتح للغامج برونز يعطي دفئ جميل للبشرة ويندمج عدل

الهايلايتر: شامبين بوب من بيكا هالاضاءة من شريتها صرت ٨٠٪ استخدمها هي و٢٠٪ باقي اضاءاتي.. تهببل لونها مشمشي بضهبي بس تراها قوية تحتاج ايد خفيفة ودمج عدل وماتصلح للي يحبون الاضاءات الطبيعية والناعمة

Eyes Makeup:

مكياج العيون

Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion, I like this one to set different eye shadows, very smooth and easy to blend. 

Eyeshadow Palette: Artist Eye by Laura Mercier.. a perfect palette with mix of neutrals and colours  lights and darks, shimmers and mattes 

Single Eyeshadow: Mooning from colourpop this is a metallic shade, I love to apply it on my lid and blend it upwards when I want a 1 colour eye look.. the shade is perfect 

Eye Liner: Kat Van D Tattoo eyeliner is very black, long lasting and with a tip that allows you to dray any type of winged liners.

Mascara: I'm on my third tube of MUFE smoky lash mascara, I love that it doesn't clump and by how many layers you can easily control the volume desired, it's also easy to clean. 

Eyes lashes: I'm loving Rapunzel by Azhar Hubail (Bahraini MUA), I love that they are longer in the middle, they give the eye a beautiful look, they also remain in a very good condition even after multiple uses.

Brows: illamasqua brow cake in shade Thunder.. this is a great powder! it looks natural but also sets well and the darkness can be easily controlled.




البرايمر: برايمر بوشن من اربان ديكاي شفاف بدون لون يوضح لون الاي اشدو ويثبته ويمنعه من التخطيط 

باليت الشادو: ارتست آي من لورا ميرسيه يهبببل درجاته بين الترابية والبنفسجية فيه مطفي وفيه شيمر وضوح الالوان عجيب وتندمج بطريقة جميلة بدون مايخف اللون او يبهت


الشدو المفرد: موننغ من كلر بوب نوعيته ساتن او ميتالك بني بلمعة ذهبية احبه كلون واحد باللوكات السريعة والطبيعية يحلي العين مع لاينر مسحوب او مموه ورموش

الماسكرا: هذي علبتي الثانية من ميكب فورايفر سموكس لاش عجيبة تكثف وترفع الرموش بدون ماتلصقهم وبسرعة تتنظف وماتيبس الرموش

الرموش: رابونزل من ازهار حبيل خبيرة تجميل بحرينية يهبلون من الوسط اطول من الباقي وشعرهم متداخل ببعض وايد يحلون العين وخفيف ماحس بهم

الحواجب: الكيك بادور من ايلاماسكا فظيع ينحط جاف وبالماي يرسم عدل وبسرعة اقدر اتحكم بثقله ويتم مدة طويلة مايدهن ولا يخف

Lips Makeup:

Lip Pencils: Soar and Edge to Edge both by MAC, I love them under almost any lipstick, wether it was a nude or a bright pink/purple, Soar is more of a rosy and Edge to Edge is more of a plum. 

Lipsticks: Men Love Mystery and Brave both by MAC too.. Men Love Mystery has to be the perfect purple lipstick ever! it has a matte finish, with a bit pink tone to  make it a beautiful wearable purple rather than a dramatic purple, Brave is a gorgeous nude rose.. goes well with any skin tone! this is a satin finish.

Liquid Matte Lipsticks: I got a plenty of liquid lipsticks during 2015! Limecrime still tops my list.. Cashmere being the favourite Greige colour (always paired with one of the top pencils to add some tone to it) and Utopia being the favourite bright shade  a purplish hot pink... I love that they dry to a matte velvety finish with a good wearing time.

مكياج الشفاه

المحددات: أحلى اثنين عندي سور وايدج تو ايدج والاثنين من ماك، احبهم تحت اغلب الدرجات اللحمية والوردية والبنفسجية وحتى الفواقع، سوى توني يميل للروز أكثر أما ايدج تو ايدج يميل للموف، اللي يميز محددات ماك انهم كريميين وتغطيتهم كاملة واحياناً ممكن تكتفين بس بالمحدد بدون روج

 الأرواج: بعد الاثنين المفضلين عندي من ماك، بريف لونه لحمي روز والفنش ساتن يهبل مع كل درجات البشرة واذا بغيته اغمج احط تحته محدد اغمج منه أما الثاني من لاف ميستري فهو ارووع روج بنفسجي جربته يهبببل وفيه تون وردي خفيف فصاير عملي بنفس الوقت

الارواج السايلة المطفية: طبعا شريت منهم كمية مهولة السنة اللي فاتت بس اللي فعلاً عجبتني نوعيتهم لايم كرايم واحلى لونين كشمير رمادي بيجي حلوو بشرط مع محدد فيه لون روز او بنفسجي عشان مايكون لون زومبي والثاني يوتوبيا فوشي على بنفسجي يهبل لونه 

Skincare:

Hand wash: I Love Bath & Body Works hand soaps! specially the ones with tiny beads, they sort of make the skin softer.. I always love their winter/holiday collections because they come in sweet and yummy scents.. this one is "Vanilla Cozy Cream" the name is enough for you to know how yummy it smells!

Hand scrub: also from Bath and Body Works, Blue Spa 1 Minute sugar spa, this has a cute smell and really leaves the skin smooth and soft!

Hand sunscreen: Supergoop Forever Young Hand Cream - SPF40, this is really great! I first had the small one to carry on in my hand bag, I ordered this one even before I finished it, in addition to protecting the hands from the sun, it moisturises pretty well and after months of using it.. my hands really look smooth and young, it's like it keeps maintaining the look of the newly generated skin.. I don't think I will stop using this one.. I've always been self conscious when it comes to my hand but almost not anymore since I started using this!

Hand cream: L'occitane Shea Butter hand cream, this is one of the most moisturising hand creams in the market, for dry skin.. this is your best friend! and it comes in zillion of scents! I love the rose and the original the most.

Feet soak: Blue Spa by Bath and Body Works again, I put this in hot water and soak my feet for sometime, it helps relax and the skin is noticeably softer after it.

العناية

صابون اليد: أحلى صابون يد سايل عندي من باث اند بودي واحب النوع الجل اللي فيه حبيبات خفيفة احسه يقشر البشرة ويرطبها بعد وروايحهم تهبببل

مقشر اليد: بعد من باث اند بودي من كولكشن البلو سبا بالحمضيات والسكر تتقشر اليدين لمدة دقيقة فعلاً فعال ويترك اليدين ناااعمين ويخفف الزوايد الجلدية حول الاظافر خصوصاً اذا فركتهم بالسكرب بفرشة

حماية اليد من الشمس: جربت وايد كريمات لين بالصدفة شتف هذا من اللي فازوا بجائزة ألور وطلبت الحجم الصغير اجربه وحبيته واايد حمايته اربعين وبنفس الوقت يرطب البشرة ومع الوقت يخفف الخطوط باليد.. انا كانت فيني عقدة من يدي لانها ضعيفة وبشرتي جافة فدايماً الخطوط تكون وايد بارزة بس من استخدمت هالكريم الحين قريب السنة شكل يدي وايد صار احلى بسبب الترطيب والحماية وخفت الخطوط بشكل كبيييير

كريم اليد: قلت وايد من قبل اني مهووسة كريمات يد احب اجرب.. اكثر نوع حبيته بالسنة اللي فاتت كريم الشيا من لوكسيتان صج ترطيبه فظيييع ويتم مدة طويلة

منتج البديكير والاقدام: بعد من باث اند بودي كولكشن البلو سبا نوعيته مثل الاملاح تنرش بماي حاى وتتنقع الريول فيه.. صج يخلي الىيول تسترخي وتصير ليينة.. بعد ما البس كعب ساعات طويلة هذا الشي فعلاً يريح ىيولي ويخفف المها

Face, Hair & Shower

Face Masks: Kiehl's Deep Pore Cleansing Mask, a mud mask that really purifies the skin when used regularly  to be applied on clean damp skin then rinse after it dries, up to twice weekly.. really good one. And Origins Drink Up Intensive sleeping mask, this is to moisturise the skin, even though I have an oily skin, I love applying this before I sleep once in a week or every 2 weeks and sleep, in the morning my skin is smooth and radiant. 

Eyes: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye, I don't really have dark circles but I do have some lines and my under eyes tend to feel dry sometimes, I love to apply this before my sleep, this is my second tube, it doesn't leave any oily feeling but the under eye feels tighter and healthier. 

Shower: L'occitane almond shower oil, this is infused with almond oil, I love it's smell! and every time I use it to shower, my skin will feel smooth for days after. 

Hair Mask: Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Reparative Hair Pak, to be applied after the shampoo for few minuted then rinsed, I always colour and style my hair so I need constant maintainace  this helps to strengthen my hair and revive it, hair looks shinier with it. 

Hair Oil: L'occitane Repairing Oil, even though this contains 5 different oils, it still feels like a serum rather than a real oil - which I Love because I hate how oils feels sticky! this can be used in different ways, before shampooing, on a clean hair before styling or as an end.. it helps to smoothen the hair and when used long with hair dryer and/or straightener, it eliminates the frizz, and it smells nice too. 

Perfumes

Daily Perfume: Cartier Baiser Vole, this was a Love from first breath! I'm not really good in describing scents, but I just love it and I feel it's very unique... I keep buying it because every time I finish a bottle and smell it somewhere I get all happy and miss it again! 

CHANEL N°5

do I need to say more? this is the most special perfume I've came through (my empty bottles says it right?) It's just.. Beautiful! when I'm going to somewhere special or fun or If I'm just feeling special, I grab my N°5 bottle, BUT I love to spray it on my clothes, wait for it for few minutes to set then wear them, I find it's freshly sprayed scent way too strong for my taste.

Jour d'hermes Absolu, I had this sprayed on my wrist while I was in the airport, I smelled it again when I arrived to Istanbul Hotel and I was like omg which perfume is that!!? I didn't even remember the bottle but only remembered it was Hermes, had a white cap and the perfume is orange! (you know who sales people try to spray you all the perfumes for you to buy!), it took me months until the picture popped in google or Instagram and I remembered it! I got it from Paris when I visited (another reason to love it), this is perfect for winter and evenings, it's spicy or woody I guess? it smells divine and last in clothes for maybe a week! (not kidding!!)

Oud Al Qasr by Roberto Cavalli: this a very strong perfume, but I Love it! special on Abayas it feels very classy and elegant, I only spray once or twice because it's very strong, If you love Arabic perfumes and Oud, you should give it a try. 

Sorry I know I suck in describing perfumes lol, but I did use the help of http://fragrantica.com in my last post to include all the notes and that stuff! 

LASTLY... favourite scented candles . Bath and Body Works Candles (the biggest size!) and as in the hand soaps, they come in many scents.. and I Love their winter/holiday (All sweets & cakes!) their Summer collections (fresh and beachy!) Fall Collections (Warm and Cozy) and Of course a lot of their classics.. the pictures is Frosted Cranberry from their 2015 Holidays..
