{ Restaurants around the Island: Coco's *

Good evening 

Since I Love trying new Restaurants "Specially Italians" & I Love taking food photography I thought of Starting this Series "Restaurants around the Island" 

I will start with one of my favorites: CoCo's

بما إني أحب أجرب المطاعم المختلفة "خاصة الإيطالية" وأحب تصوير الأكل فكرت أسوي هالسلسة "Restaurants around the Island" 

وببتدي من واحد من مطاعمــي المفضلة: كوكوز

Coco's is a popular Restaurant in Bahrain, it's located in AlAdliya - Behind Gulf Hotel, it looks like a house: 

كوكوز من المطاعم المشهورة في البحرين، مكانه في منطقة العدلية - ورا فندق الخليج، ومن برا شكله جنه بيت:

 There are tables outside, inside & upstairs. it's usually crowded, you will have to give them your name & wait your turn. In our last visit we sat in the small room inside

المطعم فيه طاولات برة، داخل وفوق. المطعم عادةَ يكون مزدحم ، تعطونهم الأسماء وتنتظرون دوركم، في زيارتنا الأخيرة احنا قعدنا بالغرفة الصغيرة داخل

 You will get the menus, you can choose from many meals, they have Varieties of starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers, Pastas, Spaghetti, Lasagna, Sea Foods.... etc & they have a special menu for Breakfast too. food takes some time to arrive because the restaurant is usually crowded.

المينيو فيه أطباق متعددة مختلفة للاختيار بينهم، عندهم مقبلات مختلفة، سلطات، ساونديشات، برغر، باستا، سباغيتي، لازانيا، سي فود.. إلخ. وبعد عندهم مينيو خاص للريوق. الأكل أغلب الوقت ياخذ شوي وقت لين يوصل لأن المطعم مزحوم!

 For our starters we ordered Chicken Caeser Salad & 2 Chicken Broccoli Soup with Mushroom.. 

I am not usually a Salad person, I just ate some chicken! but I Love soups and Coco's soups are very delicious, the pout is kinda big we usually share 1 pout for every 2  

للمقبلات طلبنا سلطة دجاج سيزر، وشوربتين دجاج بالبروكلي مع مشروم زيادة.. 

أنا مو من صوبي السلطات وايد بس كلت شوي دياي بس ربعي يحبون سلطتهم وايد. أنا أحب الشوربات وايد وكوكوز شورباتهم لذيذة والوحدة تكفي شخصين تقريباً

For Main course we got 2 of their popular dishes.. Grill Chicken with White Sauce & Beef Lasagna 

للاطباق الرئيسية أخذنا طبقين من أطباقهم المشهورة، جريل جكن مع الصلصة البيضا ولازانيا لحم. 

Grill chicken is Really the best here <3 A Roasted Chicken Breast, with your choice of sauce, mashed potatoes, mushroom & vegetables.. we always order it with White Sauce, everything in this dish is perfect! spices, flavors, even the mashed potatoes is very yummy & can be ordered separately as a side order.  

الغريل جكن صج أحلى شي هني، طبقات دياي مشوي، إختيار من الصلصة، بطاطس مهروسة، مشروم وخضار.. إحنا دايما نطلبه مع صلصة بيضا. كل شي في هالطبق مضبوط البهارات، النكهات حتى البطاطس المهروسة طعمها وايد لذيذ وممكن تنطلب بروحها كطبق جانبيي

Bees Lasagna is also very delicious, for me it's the best Lasagna in Bahrain so far. 

لازانيا اللحم بعد واايد لذيذة وانا اعتبرها الألذ في البحرين لجد الحين 

I Ordered Peach Ice Tea to drink, this is very refreshing & cold.. you will think the jar is big.. but it's not! I always used to see many people ordering this.. I was really curious what's this thing that everybody is ordering! then when I finally tried it I became an addict LOL now every time we go I must have one.

انا طلبت لي بيتش آيس تي وااايد حلو منعش وبارد.. يتحسون انه وايد عود بس هو لا.. قبل ماجربه كنت دايما اشوف الناس عندهم واستغرب شنو هذا الشي اللي كل الناس يشربونه! بس من جربته صرت مدمنة عليه ولازم كل مرة نروح آخذ 

My sister ordered Mix of Orange & Mango Juice, but she said it was only Mango! she didn't like it

but usually their juices are excellent & you can always request a mix! Try Mix Melons, Mango Orange and Pomegranate & Orange

اختي طلبت عصير كس برتقال ومانغو بس ماعجبها تقول كان بس مانغو 

عموما عصايرهم واايد حلوة وممكن ينخلطون، جربوا مكس بطيخ ومكس عصير وليمون ، ورمان وبرتقال 

That was our visit to Coco's.. we were 3 people & this was our bill

وهذي كانت زيارتنا لكوكوز.. كنا 3 أشخاص وهذي فاتورتنا

 What are the Good things? 

- Food  is very delicious. 

- Prices are Reasonable.

- No Service Charge.

- Many Tables Options.

- No Sheesha / Smoking.

- Family Friendly.

شنو الأشياء الزينة بالمطعم؟ 

- الأكل وايد لذيذ.

- الأسعار معقولة.

- ماياخذون على الخدمة.

- إختيار متعدد للطاولات.

- مافي شيشة / تدخين.

- مناسب للعائلات.

What are the Bad Things?

- Parking area.

- Always Crowded.

- Can't Reserve table through phone.

- Service can be bad if the place is crowded.

شنو الأشياء السلبية؟

 - الباركات.

- دايما زحمة.  

- ماعندهم حجز بالتلفون.

- أحيانا الخدمة تكون سيئة إذا المكان زحمة.

أولاً  معلومات الطلب

طلبته من آبل بريطانيا

أول مافتحوا الطلب المسبق تاريخ 14 سبتمبر 2012 الساعة 10

أنا طلبته الساعة 10:15

اللون أبي وفضي

السعة 64 جيجا أبيض

السعر 699 باوند بريطاني  شامل التاكس "غير قابلة للاسترجاع"

تعادل تقريبا 430 دينار بحريني

وانا حطيت بالبطاقة 470 زيادة 0 دينار بس عشان أتطمن! لأان الباوند يتغير بسرعة

Order Details

I Ordered it from Apple UK, because it's unlocked & works in our Networks in Bahrain

I placed my order on Friday September 14th win the pre order started

Pre order started 10:00am Bahrain time, my order was placed around 10:15am

White & Silver Color

64GB

Price was £699 including tax "non refundable"

around 430 Bahraini Dinars; I deposited in 470 dinars, because the pound changes fasts & I didn't want my order to get canceled for any reason!


يوم االاحد أو الاثنين أعتقد تغير الحالة للتجهيز للشحن وانشحن الاربعا كان

عشان يوصل للصندوق يوم الجمعة 21 سبتمبر وهو اليوم اللي راح ينباع فيه الآيفون 5 في متاجر آبل حول العالم

الشحن كان من المصنع في الصين

تسجل في حسابي بأرامكس يوم الجمعة بالليل وتحول مباشرة للمحرق - البحرين

اليوم وصله لي سايق أرامكس الساعة 10 وربع الصبح تقريباً

I think by Sunday or Monday Status was updated to "Preparing for Shipment" then was Shipped by Wednesday

Scheduled to be delivered on September 21st, which the same day iPhone5 will launch in Apple Stores around the world

Shipping was from the factory in China to my Aramex Shop and Ship Box in London

it Entered my Account in Aramex by Friday's night, Forwarded directly to Muharraq-Bahrain

today Aramex Driver Delivered to me @ around 10:15

والحين القضية الكبرى.. السم كارد "الشريحة"

عندنا في البحرين للحين ولا شركة نزلتها ودايما جوابهم قريب وراح نخبركم

وانا انسانة ماعندي صبر بالمرة هههههه :$

فقررت أخاطر وأصغر السم كارد بروحي! خاصة بعد ماشفت تجارب وايد ناجحة في النت

Now the Most Complicated Part.. the Nano Sim!

here in Bahrain, no one of the 3 Telecommunication Companies Launched the Nano Sims Yet!

they keep saying soon, we will inform you!

& I am the most impatient person :$

I decided to take the risk & cut / trim it by my self! I saw many peoples on Youtube did it & succeed

I prepared what I needed:

بس بعدين مامشت عليه! لان بطاقتي مايكرو سيم وصعب ارسم عليها

but then I didn't follow it, because my sim is Micro, it's already small it was hard to stick it & draw on it! 

 
فقررت أتهور واقص بالمقص!

حددت المقاس.. اقص تقريبا بحدود الشريحة بالضبط

بسم الله توكلنا

So I decided to go crazy & use Scissors!

I had to get exactly around the chip!

here we go!

 
بعد ماقصيتها.. بردت الأطراف بورق صنفرة <<< الله يخلي البابا عطاني اياها من امس!

ركبتها في البداية.. وكانت تحتاج تضعيف فحكيتها بالورق من الطرف الثاني الابيض مو اللي فيه الشريحة

Then, I buffed the edges using a sand paper which I asked dad to give me yesterday!

I put it in the tray first, it needed to e thinner since Nano sim is thinner than the regular Macro, So I used the sand paper again on the logo side not the chip side!

 وجربت أفتحه.. طلع لي No Sim

فقلت أوه شكلي قتلت البطاقة ههههههه

بس فكرت يمكن تكون معكوسة.. قلبتها وجربت مرة ثانية


then I placed it on the tray & tried opening my iPhone.. it showed No Sim

I thought I killed my sim LOL

then I thought maybe I placed it wrong!

I Flipped it & tried again

واشتغلـــــت الحمدلله!

and it WORKED =D!
 

 كملت عملية التفعيل المعتادة، اللوكيشن سيرفس، فايند ماي ايفون، الآي كلاود والخ

اخترت اخليه كآيفون جديد! لأن آيفوني القبلي زحمة ههههههه


فبنقل الاشياء اللي ابيها بالايتونز

I then completed the normal setup, Location Services, Find My iPhone, iCloud, etc

I chose to Setup it as a new iPhone

because my iPhone 4 is full & in a mess x_x I'll move what I want later by iTunes

والحين صار جاهز للاستخدام

& now it's ready to use

 واشتغل على بركة الله

& here we go

ويامحاسن الصدف أول ماشغلته وصلني مسج أرامكس إنه في شحنة لي طالعة للدليفري تحتوي على آيفون!  رغم انها وصلت خلاص هههههه

& the funny part is.. when I opened it I received a sms from Aramex saying that I have a package out for Delivery containing iPhone although I already received it LoL

برمجت شبكة الثري جي، شركات الاتصالات بالبحين للحين ماشغلوا شبكة الجيل الرابع

Setting Up 3G, our carriers in Bahrain haven't launched LTE yet -_- 

 وبس صار جاهز للاستخدام!

وللعلم الجهاز خفيييف جنه ريشة هههههه

ورغم إنه نفس عرض الآيفون السابق.. بس لأنه أطول فيعطي إيحاء إنه ضعيف!

& BTW.. it's veeeery light weight! you can't feel it

& although it has the same width as 4 & 4S, but because it's taller it looks like thinner too =)!
